 Crewe captain Neil Cox will be out for at least six weeks |
Crewe coach Steve Holland hopes to have captain Neil Cox available again before the end of the season. The 36-year-old, who is set to have surgery on a shoulder injury, has made 21 league starts this season and has one season remaining on his contract.
"We haven't seen the back of Neil this season, and its quite possible he will be back before the end," Holland said.
Crewe have compensated for the loss of their skipper by bringing in Kenny Lunt and Gary Roberts on month-long loans.
