| Crewe Alexandra's young striker Nicky Maynard will not be returning to action this weekend despite hopes that he had fully recovered from his broken leg. Coach Steve Holland is worried Maynard could pick up a secondary injury by rushing back into action. "He feels a bit sluggish with his overall fitness because he has been out for a long time," Holland told the club's website. "We will resist the temptation to bring him back until he is ready."
