Crewe expect to wrap up the signing of defender Danny O'Donnell, who was on loan at the club last season, after agreeing a fee for him with Liverpool. "We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Liverpool," Crewe boss Dario Gradi told the club's website. "He is keen to come here and he knows what we are willing to pay, so I think him signing will just be a formality. "Danny is a great lad, an honest lad and I don't think for one second that he will change his mind."
