Crewe Alexandra defender Nathaniel Kerr has signed his first professional contract with the club. Kerr, 18, has been a mainstay in the Railwaymen's Under-18 side since joining the club in 2002.
The Manchester born 18-year-old can play in central defence but has also played in both full-back positions.
Kerr originally rose to prominence aged just fifteen when the Railwaymen's heralded Under-18 side reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
