Crawley Town assistant manager Paul Raynor says he cannot wait for their Blue Square Bet Premier clash against AFC Wimbledon on Friday.

The Reds have a six point lead over Wimbledon at the top of the table, with four games in hand.

Raynor told BBC Sussex: "We've had some fantastic nights here throughout this season. It's going to be another one.

"Wimbledon have had a magnificent season. Terry Brown will have them fired up. We can't wait. Bring it on."

And Raynor admitted that Crawley will take extra motivation from their 2-1 loss to the Dons at Kingsmeadow in September.

"We certainly want to put the record straight," he continued.

"We were disappointed with the manner of our defeat at Wimbledon. We felt we deserved something from the game.

"The boys will be up for it, as they have all the big games this season."

Crawley striker Richard Brodie added: "Everyone wants to play in the big games. Yes, revenge is on the cards but we're not going to shout our mouths off.

"We'll prepare properly like we have for every game, go out on Friday and hopefully pick up a positive result."
