Crawley assistant manager Paul Raynor has revealed his delight at completing the signing of midfielder Barry Cogan.
The 23-year-old, who played in the 2004 FA Cup final for Millwall against Manchester United, arrives at the Broadfield from Grays Athletic.
"We're delighted to have got him on board," Raynor told BBC Sussex.
"He gives us versatility, the bottom line is he's a very good player, very good technically on the ball and gets a goal. Barry fits the bill."
Raynor added: "An attacking midfielder was definitely something we needed after losing Simon Weatherstone.
"We're an attacking team and we like to get the ball down and play and we feel he can be a very good acquisition for us.
"We've got the guys in that we wanted now, they fit in with the budget and wanted to come to Crawley and we feel there aren't many areas we're crying out for now."
