James finished last season on loan at Swindon from Forest |
Crawley Town have completed the signing of former Woking, Nottingham Forest and Gillingham winger Kevin James. James, 28, had been a free agent after turning down an offer to stay with Woking at the start of January.
He has now signed a deal running until the end of the season following a medical at the Broadfield Stadium.
According to Crawley, they beat off competition from Blue Square Premier rivals Oxford and Weymouth to persuade James to join them.
James, who played under Red Devils boss Steve Evans during a loan spell at Boston three years ago, started 18 Blue Square Premier games for Woking earlier this season.
He has also played for Walsall, Yeovil, Grimsby and Swindon.
