Conference strugglers Crawley Town have appointed former Chelsea boss John Hollins as their new manager. Hollins is most famous for his spell in charge at Stamford Bridge in the 1980s.
The 58-year-old former Swansea and Rochdale boss will work without a contract but will be able to bring players in during the transfer window.
Hollins takes over from player Simon Wormull, who has been operating in a caretaker capacity since Francis Vines' sacking last month.
"John will be here till the summer at least," Crawley's football consultant Alan Mullery told BBC Southern Counties Radio.
"We didn't want someone coming in and being comfortable - we wanted someone hungry"
