Crawley Town have secured a two-month loan deal for striker Tristram Whitman from Conference rivals Tamworth. Whitman, 25, has also interested Altrincham but has instead moved to the Broadfield Stadium after falling down the pecking order at the Lamb.
The former Doncaster and Scarborough forward scored 11 times last season, but has only found the net once this term for Mark Cooper's men.
Meanwhile, Crawley are expected to appoint a new manager next week.
