 Brian Welsh is reshaping his squad for next season |
Cowdenbeath have signed striker Andy Howatt from Edinburgh University. The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals for the East of Scotland Premier League side this season and played against Cowden in the Scottish Cup in December.
Physical education student Howatt was recently selected in the Scotland Semi-Pro squad for the annual Four Nations Tournament.
Cowdenbeath manager Brian told his club website: "We have been tracking Andy for some time."
Welsh said that "a number of senior clubs were after him"
