Cowdenbeath have signed Laurie Ellis from Raith Rovers. The 27-year-old was a team-mate of Cowdenbeath manager Mixu Paatelainen when the pair played for St Mirren.
"I am delighted that Laurie has opted to join me at Central Park," Paatelainen told the club's official website on Thursday.
"I know that he will offer two vital attributes - experience and quality. He has a physical presence and will offer competition down the left."
