Livingston captain James McPake has joined Coventry City after signing a three-and-a-half year deal with the Sky Blues for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old defender had been expected to move to the Ricoh this summer after signing a pre-contract agreement in December.
But the two clubs agreed a fee for McPake to make the move now.
"It's going to be a massive step up but I hope I can cope," said McPake. "I've played in the Premier with Livingston."
McPake, who has been at Almondvale since joining the club as a teenager in 2000, had also been linked with St Mirren and Motherwell.
