Coventry City manager Chris Coleman says Norwich were the better side in the Sky Blues' 2-0 win at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

Coleman told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "We were playing long ball, we looked nervous and our defending was schoolboy stuff.

"But to get the three points is a good sign," he added. Goals from Elliott Ward and Leon McKenzie helped City to victory on the opening day of the season.

McKenzie's strike was the 100th goal of his career and after the match he dedicated it to his family.

"It's been a long time coming, I've been through a lot. The 100th goal was for my family, my wife and kids," he said.
