The 21-year-old, who has struggled with injuries since joining from Southampton in the summer, scored twice in the Sky Blues' 4-2 win at West Brom.

"His first goal was an outstanding finish and the second was all about deftness in front of goal," manager Iain Dowie told the club's website.

"We think he has fantastic potential and his record shows he gets goals."
