Coventry City managing director Paul Fletcher has resigned his position. The shock news comes at a time when the Championship club remain heavily involved in takeover talks with a number of potential investors.
"The board of Coventry City Football Club can today confirm that managing director Paul Fletcher has resigned," the club said in a statement.
"The club would like to thank Paul for his dedication and hard work during what has been a difficult time."
Fletcher recently said that two firm offers had been made for the club - and rejected claims that it faced adminstration.
