Coventry will complete the signing of Cambridge United striker Robbie Simpson on 1 July, with the fee likely to be decided by a tribunal. Cambridge boss Jimmy Quinn claims the two clubs are "a million miles apart" in their valuation of the player.
Quinn told BBC Sport: "We made him a terrific offer, we want to keep him but he's signing for Coventry."
Simpson, 22, scored 17 Conference goals for Cambridge United after joining from neighbours Cambridge City.
