| Youngsters Kevin Thornton and Ben Turner have signed new contracts with Coventry City. Midfielder Thornton has agreed a two-year extension to his current deal which will keep him with the Sky Blues until the summer of 2010. The 20-year-old featured in Coventry's final three Championship matches. Defender Turner, 18, made his full debut in the Sky Blues' penultimate league game against West Brom and has signed a new two-year contract.
