Clarke and Duffy have another five weeks at Coventry |
Coventry City duo Richard Duffy and Clive Clarke have had their loan deals at the Ricoh Arena extended. Their contracts expired on Saturday but the Sky Blues have agreed deals with Duffy's club Portsmouth and Clarke's club Sunderland until 1 January.
Clarke, 26, has featured five times for City at left-back and left midfield, while Wales international Duffy has played six times since joining.
Duffy, 21, is currently in his third loan spell at Coventry.
Meanwhile, City boss Micky Adams admits that striker Dele Adebola could leave the club in order to get regular first-team football.
Adams told the Coventry Telegraph: "A few clubs have inquired about Dele, who would like to get more games and that might be a good idea for him.
"But he will only go out if Stern John is fit, which we hope he will be for Saturday, so I have to assess the situation."
