Currie has scored nine goals for Ipswich |
Ipswich winger Darren Currie has joined Championship rivals Coventry on loan with a view to making the move permanent in January. Town boss Jim Magilton said he could not guarantee Currie, who turns 32 this month, regular first-team football.
"He goes to Coventry with our best wishes and we'll see how things develop from there," he said.
Currie has only made six starts for the Tractor Boys this season and is out of contract in the summer.
Currie joined Ipswich from Brighton in December 2004 for 250,000.
He has also had spells at Shrewsbury, Leyton Orient, Plymouth, Barnet, Wycombe and Brighton.
