Swindon have signed Coventry defender Ady Williams on a free transfer. The 34-year-old Welshman made 41 appearances for the Sky Blues after signing for the club in November 2004 and has signed a one-year deal.
Williams spent five months on loan at Millwall last season, making 12 appearances for the Lions.
He began his career for Reading in 1996 and returned to the Royals for three years after a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2000.
