Colchester United striker Clive Platt said he was glad to have Kevin Lisbie back as his strike partner.
The 30-year-old marked his return to the U's from Ipswich with a brace in their 7-1 thumping of Norwich.
Lisbie rejoined the Essex club after a year away, having been their top scorer in the 2007/08 season.
"Obviously we had that partnership a couple of seasons ago and it was great - we kicked-off straight away," Platt told BBC Essex.
He added: "I think I set him up for both of his goals and he set me up for both of mine, so we couldn't have asked for any more."
The U's remarkable start to their League One campaign saw the Essex side 5-0 up at half-time, four of which came from the Colchester front-line.

"It's always great to get off with a goal in the first game, but to start off with two is something you dream about," said the 31-year-old.
"But we'll still be working hard off the pitch and on the pitch and hopefully keep that going this season."
