Colchester boss Geraint Williams has said his side are not going to give up the fight to stay in the Championship.
The U's are 11 points from safety, following their 1-1 home draw with Cardiff City on Saturday.
With eight games left to try to avoid relegation, Williams told BBC Essex his side are not going to give up easily.
He said: "While it's mathematically possible that if we win every game then we stay up in this division, then we'll keep looking for that."
Colchester's battle to get out of the bottom three continues with a home fixture with Hull City at Layer Road on Tuesday.
Tuesday is another night and a completely different game

The sides shared a point in the corresponding fixture earlier this season, but the visitors are coming to Layer Road high on confidence after a heavy defeat of Southampton on Saturday.
Nevertheless, Williams is confident of getting something from the game.
He said: "Every game's different, they've won 5-0, we've played well and drawn, but Tuesday is another night and a completely different game.
"As long as we go out with that attitude, with that hard work and endeavour, with that ability and the bottle to pass the ball, we'll take that."
