Colchester United boss Geraint Williams will take a look at former Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie in Saturday's friendly at Heybridge Swifts. Lisbie, 28, was released by Charlton at the end of last season after coming through the youth ranks at the Valley.
The Hackney-born Jamaican international scored 19 goals in 176 games for the Addicks, his only permanent club.
Hungary centre-back Bela Balogh, 23, who plays for MTK Hungaria in his homeland, will also play for the U's.
