Colchester boss Geraint Williams has been named as the Championship's manager of the month for September. Williams' side collected 11 league points from a possible 15 - beating Burnley, QPR and Ipswich and drawing with Luton and Leicester.
"This award is recognition for everyone at the club including the backroom staff who work so hard," said Williams.
Other contenders were Cardiff's Dave Jones, Preston boss Paul Simpson and Ipswich's Jim Magilton.
