Duguid has not played since suffering knee ligament damage against Stockport in March 2004 but he said: "There is light at the end of the tunnel.

"The specialists overseeing my recovery are all pleased with how things are going and everything feels much better.

"Movements that were not easy are now problem free and with the dynamic work I feel a lot more comfortable," Duguid told the club's official website.
