Former Dundee, Queen's Park, Morton and Albion Rovers manager John McCormack has been appointed first-team coach under John Brown at Clyde.
The 54-year-old has been out of the game for just over a year after leaving the manager's post at Albion Rovers.
McCormack left for a spell as assistant manager to Billy Reid at Hamilton that ended after just two months.
Brown had been without an assistant since Dougie Bell left Clyde shortly after the start of the season.
Director of football Neil Watt said: "John brings a wealth of experience at this level to Clyde.
"Knowing and having worked with him in the past, I am sure that everyone at the club will get a real lift from his enthusiasm and drive.
I know John from our time at Dundee. He's a great guy who has a lot of passion

"Importantly, his in-depth knowledge of football should be of considerable benefit."
McCormack was excited to join the Cumbernauld club, who languish at the foot of Division Two after a traumatic summer when they came close to administration and had to bring in a squad of cheaper players.
"Having been out of the game for so long, straight away I was interested in the role," he told Clyde's website.
"I spoke to John Brown on Monday, when I also had the chance to see the game against Glencairn, and I was delighted to speak to Neil Watt again on Tuesday to start finalising things.
"I know John from our time at Dundee. He's a great guy who has a lot of passion.
"It's important for me to take some of the weight off him and I certainly wouldn't have taken on the role if I didn't feel that I could make a difference."
