Roberts is looking forward to the tie with Celtic |
Clyde manager Graham Roberts is hoping Roy Keane makes his Celtic debut against his side in the Scottish Cup. He said: "I played against Roy when he was at Nottingham Forest and we knew he was a superstar back then.
"He is a wonderful player and it will be fantastic for Clyde and the people of Cumbernauld to see an actual superstar at their stadium.
"But he will know he has been in the game by the end of it. I can assure you of that."
Sunday's tie at Broadwood is a sell-out and Roberts can't wait to go head-to-head with the SPL leaders.
"You like to pit your wits against the best players and you like to pit your wits against the best managers," he added.
"Gordon Strachan is probably the best manager in Scotland at the moment.
"Myself and Joe Miller want to test ourselves and this is the biggest test we have had so far."
Earlier this season, Clyde gave Rangers a fright in the CIS Insurance Cup, with the Ibrox side needing extra-time to progress at home.
"When we played Rangers, people knocked us and said we were just going there to make the numbers up," said the former Ibrox defender.
"When we went 2-1 up, it frightened the life out of them. In the end, we know we have 11 players against 11 players and our 11 players will run through brick walls."
