Fletcher joined Chesterfield in 2007 after 15 years at Bournemouth

Veteran striker Steve Fletcher is one of five players who have been offered new contracts by Chesterfield.

Defensive duo Janos Kovacs and Phil Picken and midfielders Derek Niven and Peter Leven are also mulling over terms to stay with the League Two side.

But defenders Alan O'Hare and Kevin Gray, midfield duo Josh Law and Kevin Cooper, and forwards Jamie Jackson and Adam Smith have not been offered deals.

And the club is yet to make a decision on the future of striker Bruce Dyer.
