Chesterfield have completed the signing of Nottingham Forest defender Brendan Moloney on a month-long loan. The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international will go straight into the Spireites squad to face Brentford at Griffin Park on Saturday.
The 18-year-old can play at centre-back, right-back or in midfield.
Moloney has played two first-team games for Forest this season, and made his debut from the bench in March 2007 against Gillingham.
