Chesterfield have moved fast to ease their injury concerns with the loan signing of Sheffield United's Nicky Travis until 31 December. The forward, 20, is a regular for the reserves at Bramall Lane but is yet to capture a first team spot.
Spirites manager Lee Richardson told the club's website: "We have been keeping an eye on Nicky.
"The chance for him to join is quite timely for our current situation as he can play in a number of positions."
