Chesterfield have moved to sign released Bournemouth striker Steve Fletcher on a one-year contract. Fletcher, who spent 15 years at Bournemouth, is the Spireites' fourth signing of the summer.
The 34-year-old told Chesterfield's website: "Lee Richardson was so enthusiastic for me to sign it left me with little choice."
Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson said: "Steve's a big, powerful nuisance who is difficult to play against."
