Lowry faces a considerable length of time out on the sidelines |
Chesterfield defender Jamie Lowry could be out for the rest of the season after contracting glandular fever. The Newquay-born player, 19, has been told he must have complete rest for four weeks and then will need a couple of months to build up his fitness.
Lowry made his debut earlier this season in the win against West Ham.
Meanwhile midfielder Reuben Wiggins-Thomas, 18, has signed his first professional contract with the Spireites until the end of the season.
