Chesterfield have completed the signing of Sheffield United midfielder Kevan Hurst on a six-month loan deal. The Chesterfield-born Hurst spent most of last season on loan with the Spireites, scoring six goals in 39 appearances for the club.
Spireites manager Roy McFarland said: I am delighted that the two clubs have been able to agree a deal.
The move upset Bradford City boss Colin Todd, who blamed the player's agent for a similar deal falling through.
