Chesterfield midfielder Mark Allott has signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at Saltergate until June 2008. "Mark is probably playing his best-ever football and he has become very influential," said boss Roy McFarland.
Allott, 28, joined Chesterfield from Oldham in February 2002 following a successful loan spell and has since made over 150 appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, striker Mark DeBolla, 22, has been made available for a loan after slipping down the pecking order.
