Chesterfield will have to pay an extra �25,000 for the services of striker Luke Beckett.

The original transfer from Conference side Chester City was �150,000 when Beckett moved last summer.

But financial irregularities surrounding the move plunged the Spireites into controversy leading to a nine-point deduction by the Football League.

An FA tribunal has revised the fee to �175,000 with the sell-on clause to Barnsley - where Beckett began his career - increased from 10 per cent to 20 per cent.
