Two clubs chase Chester's Ellison

Chester City have confirmed that they have received enquiries from two clubs about the availability of 28-year-old midfielder Kevin Ellison.

Both Darlington and Wrexham have asked about taking Ellison on a temporary loan with the option of a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Ellison, who is Chester's leading goalscorer, rejected a loan move to Stockport County earlier this season.

The moves come as the loan transfer window closes at 1700 GMT on Thursday.
