Chester City assistant manager Graham Barrow will not be taking up the number two job at Swansea City. New Swans manager Roberto Martinez, who was the Chester captain, wanted Barrow to join him at the Liberty Stadium.
"I was flattered to receive the approach from Roberto," Barrow told the Chester website.
"I know he will make a success of his career in management, but my heart and affection is and always has been with Chester City."
