Ellender is in his fifth season at York Street |
Long-serving Boston defender Paul Ellender has joined Chester City on loan until the end of the season. Goalkeeper Paul Harrison, 21, who was a free agent after being released by Wolves last month, has also moved to Chester until the end of the season.
Ellender, 31, had asked for a move for the chance of regular first-team football and joins Doncaster defender Mark Albrighton at the Deva Stadium.
He has started 160 league games for Boston since joining in August 2001.
"He's been asking to go on loan. I owed it to him, given his service to Boston and myself, to grant his request," boss Steve Evans told Boston's website.
Another new arrival at the Deva Stadium is former Preston and Bury coach Kelham O'Hanlon, who has joined the coaching staff on a part-time basis.
