Chester City have appointed former Blues player Joe Hinnigan as their new assistant-manager.

Hinnigan, 50, will combine his coaching duties with the role of physiotherapist after leaving League Two rivals Bury, where he was club physio.

Meanwhile, Chester boss Keith Curle has offered a contract to 31-year-old former Rochdale striker Paul Tait.

Curle has also curtailed the loan stays of Wayne Corden, Mark Roberts, Evan Horwood and Chris Robertson.
