Curle has impressed at Chester |
Chester chairman Steve Vaughan is to offer manager Keith Curle a new improved contract. Curle was tipped to join Neil Warnock at Portsmouth if the Sheffield United boss had taken over at Fratton Park.
But Warnock's decision to stay with the Blades means Curle is set to continue in his current job after guiding Chester into promotion contention.
"When Keith was appointed we agreed to renegotiate his contract in December," Vaughan told the Daily Post.
Vaughan added: "He has done an excellent job."
