Cheltenham Town assistant manager Keith Downing has agreed a fresh contract extension at Whaddon Road. Downing is poised to sign a new three-year deal and comes off the back of the five-year contract signed by boss John Ward last week.
Ward and Downing had been courted by other clubs but have pledged their foreseeable futures to the Robins.
Downing told the club's website: "I'm pleased I'll be staying with John. We have struck up a good partnership."
