Milton to leave Cheltenham
Cheltenham Town midfielder Russell Milton
Milton has been at the club for six years
Long-serving Cheltenham Town midfielder Russell Milton is to leave the club in the summer.

Milton, 34, has been at Whaddon Road since 1997 and has started 164 games, helping the Robins climb from the Nationwide Conference to Division Two.

"I've had six great years here but now it's time to move on," he said.

"I can understand the reasons for it and know that the manager has other ideas, so there are no gripes from me.

"I want to keep playing because I feel there are a few years left in me and I know I am good enough to stay in the game," Milton told the club's website.
