Lampard has been linked with a move to Italy |
Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has insisted the club has no intention of trying to sign Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard. Speculation grew last week when the 28-year-old's agent Steve Kutner was pictured talking to Juve executives.
However, Secco said: "We didn't go to London for Lampard and there is no negotiation whatsoever to sign him.
"In the light of the comments made by the player, it is clear that his future is in England."
Lampard has recently made it clear he would like to remain at Stamford Bridge - although he has yet to agree a new contract.
And Secco backed up Kutner's version of events that Juventus were in England "to strengthen our relationship with certain English clubs and Lampard's agent helped us to do so".
