Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits there are "tensions" in his relationship with owner Roman Abramovich. Mourinho confirmed the problems came during the transfer window, when his plans were not backed by Abramovich.
He told a Portuguese magazine: "The team was on the limits, I was forced into constant adaptations.
"There were some problems to solve and if you see the owner of the club's money, you would expect those problems to be solved, but that didn't happen."

Mourinho said: "I admit that the period between the end of December and the whole month of January may have caused some tensions."
And Mourinho clearly points the finger towards Abramovich when he explains why new players did not arrive.
He added: "The reasons given for the club not to hire new players were the alleged problems between me and Abramovich, who even stopped going to the games, although nobody cared to ask why.
"I said, who am I to question the owner of the club. Abramovich is the almighty in Chelsea."

Mourinho also revealed that he had differences with Chelsea's powerful academy director Frank Arnesen.
He said: "We do have, here or there, our differences, but each one of us makes his job in an autonomous way.
"Arnesen is not a yes man. He has his own opinion - you can agree or not.
"We have a good personal relationship. Sometimes we cross in our job because it wouldn't make sense, Arnesen being hired to establish a scouting network on the world scale and me, as a manager, not to use it for the first team."
