Huth failed a medical when Boro attempted to sign him in July |
Robert Huth's 6m move from Chelsea to Middlesbrough has been completed. Uncertainty surrounded the defender's future after it appeared Chelsea wanted to hold on to him after selling fellow centre-back William Gallas to Arsenal.
But Boro said the 22-year-old German's registration was done before the deadline passed and he is their player.
Boro wanted to unveil Huth along with on-loan Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate on Thursday but Chelsea dashed their plans by delaying the paperwork.
Huth's move was successful at the second time of asking.
Boro tried to sign the centre-back in July, but the player failed a medical and returned to the Premiership champions.
