Chelsea have denied a Football Association charge of failing to control their players in the match against West Brom on 4 March. The Blues were accused of "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion".
Several Chelsea players surrounded referee Mark Halsey following a foul by Baggies midfielder Ronnie Wallwork.
Halsey reported the incident to the FA, stating that some Chelsea players had "pressurised" him.
Meanwhile, both clubs escaped charges for a separate incident when players from both sides lost their temper following a foul by Chelsea's Arjen Robben.
"Following further consultation with Mr Halsey, it was decided that the conduct of players at the time of this incident did not warrant formal disciplinary action against either club under the guidelines set out by the disciplinary committee," added an FA statement.
The match at the Hawthorns, which Chelsea won 2-1, also saw Robben sent off for a foul on Jonathan Greening and heated exchanges between West Brom manager Bryan Robson and Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
