Ronaldinho has been in superb form |
Barcelona vice-president Sandro Rosell said he is concerned Chelsea may try to sign 22-year-old Brazilian Ronaldinho. Chelsea, funded by Russian owner Roman Abramovich, have been linked with a 50m move for the playmaker.
Rosell said: "I have a degree of fear concerning Chelsea if Abramovich is willing to invest further hundreds of millions in the transfer market.
"Abramovich's aim will be to buy one of our best players," added Barca's vice-president in The Sun newspaper.
Ronaldinho joined Barcelona from Paris St Germain last summer for 21.25m and has been in superb form for the resurgent Spanish team this season.
But Rosell refused to comment on whether Chelsea had already expressed an interest in the player. "I refuse to answer the question of whether we have received a bid for Ronaldinho."
