Parkinson is delighted with his transfer deadline-day arrivals
League One side Charlton Athletic have confirmed the signings of striker Leon McKenzie, defender Sam Sodje and Rhyl winger Luke Holden.
Both McKenzie and Sodje were free agents before signing for the Addicks while Holden has signed on a three-month loan from Welsh side Rhyl.
Charlton boss Phil Parkinson told the club's website: "We've brought in three additions and hung on to key players.
"I'm grateful for that and for all the hard work going on behind the scenes."
Former Coventry City forward McKenzie has signed a one-year deal at the Valley.
The 31-year-old started his career with Crystal Palace before signing for Peterborough in 2000, where he scored 49 goals in 103 matches in three years.
McKenzie moved to Norwich City in December 2003 and was part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League the following May.
In 2006 he was bought by Coventry in a £1m deal and netted 14 goals in 68 games for the Sky Blues.
Sodje has returned to The Valley for a second spell after a long-term loan stint with the Addicks during the 2007/08 season.
Holden, who missed out on a move to Coventry City earlier this month after failing to agree personal terms, could make the switch permanent in January.
The left-sided player, 20, is a former Liverpool youth-team member with experience at Tranmere Rovers.
He arrived at Rhyl after spells with Bradford Park Avenue and Cammell Laird, having previously spent a full season with The New Saints.
