Pardew felt decisions went against his side against Forest

Charlton boss Alan Pardew questioned the Football Association's 'Respect' campaign after his side's 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Pardew felt the referee should have awarded his side a penalty and sent off Kelvin Wilson in separate incidents.

"We try to respect this Respect programme but what are you to do?" Pardew told BBC London 94.9.

"Do we need to put the referee under pressure to make him give decisions that are the right ones?"

The FA launched the 'Respect' initiative, which includes the behaviour of managers, at the start of the season to cut out the dissent aimed at officials in English football.

But Pardew feels he has legitimate grounds for complaining about Evans' decisions.

Wilson was booked for bringing Charlton striker Luke Varney down when he could have been deemed to be preventing a goal scoring opportunity.

And Pardew added: "My teams play with discipline.

"We won't change at this time but we're going to have to review what happens to this referee and I'll be interested to see what the report says and where he is next week."
