Goalkeeper Rob Elliot has pledged his future to Charlton by signing a deal that will keep him at the Premiership club until 2008. Elliot has been used sparingly as back-up to first-choice goalkeepers Thomas Myhre and Stephan Andersen.
However, the 20-year-old and fellow rookie Darren Randolph will continue to act as understudies.
Elliot spent much of last season on loan at Accrington Stanley, helping the club return to the Football League.
